I first met Kelsey through my husband Jamie, who used to work with her. When he heard she was engaged, he insisted that she check out my work (thanks, love! ;) ). One thing led to another, and after drinks and tacos at El Barrio, she and Tony decided to hire me. I couldn’t be more excited that they did, because these two are super cute and a LOT of fun to hang out with!
We met up in historic Irondale for their engagement session. I suggested it because I’m kind of obsessed with the area. One of the first things Jamie and I did when we moved here to Birmingham 2 years ago was to go to the Whistle Stop Festival there, where we discovered Irondale Cafe, the original “Whistle Stop Cafe” from Fried Green Tomatoes. Their food is to. die. for. If you live in Birmingham and haven’t been, you MUST go. :)
But for now, enjoy Kelsey and Tony’s photos!

I’ll admit — the mustard shirt pulled me in :) LOVE the colors in this session. And this couple’s sweet sweet smiles (also, that mint green watch — love that!) And the fact this is all where Fried Green Tomatoes was filmed? TOO MUCH AWESOME!!!
