When Alabama-native Candace got accepted to a school in Colorado only a year after she started dating Kevin, she had no idea what he would think. She wasn’t sure if he’d want to do long distance, or if he’d be willing to move out there with her. Turns out, he decided he was all in and made the trek out west with her, and they’ve been head over heels for each other- and for their new home state- ever since. I love that they’ve fully embraced the Colorado lifestyle… they’re very outdoorsy, love their precious pup and take her everywhere, are eco-friendly (they brought their own recycling bins to the wedding venue!), and mostly just love being together. They’re both just so kind and laid back, and it truly was an honor to document their wedding here in Birmingham at the gorgeous Aldridge Gardens.
Highlights of the day for me: the lovely wildflower-esque florals by Dorothy McDaniel’s, the potted succulent favors, Candace walking down the aisle to a Phish song wearing the cutest purple-ribboned sandals I’ve ever seen, Kevin’s tears, Candace’s parents’ tears, everyone’s tears, the mini fried apple pies that I ate about 7 of, the hilarious first look with their dog, the COLORS, and the fact that I had my friend Taylor Haynie by my side to help me capture the day (you’ll see some of her gorgeous shots below!).
I hope you guys enjoy reliving the day through my lens! Thank you so much for having me! :)

Most darling first look ever!
Omgsh! You are so right about the colors! So beautiful…and that first look! Priceless!!! :D
Morgan and Taylor thank you so much for your wonderful creative work! You two were just amazing! So as I sit in my car getting ready to go into work I’m browsing through Facebook and see your post. I got so excited to see the pictures once again. Jack Johnson’s new song I got you came on and I was reading the precious description you wrote and the waterworks came again!! I loved reliving it all over. Thank you for allowing us to relive it through your amazing photos for the rest of our lives!
Oh Morgan, this is the sweetest… and I just love how they had their dog there for their first look! Awesome work as always!
Love these pictures! Looks like such a fun couple to photograph! Succulents as wedding favors is a fantastic idea!!

Stunning work as always! I love all of the succulents, and especially that their pup was part of the first look! <3
