The Sampayo Family

Believe it or not, I’m back…. with lots of photos to share! Life has been crazy lately, but I’m getting back in the swing of things. Case in point: over the next ten days or so, I have five sessions and THREE weddings to shoot. So yeah, lots more images heading your way. :)

A couple of months ago Jennifer emailed me to set up a family shoot. The catch? It was part of a weekend of surprises for her husband Justin’s 30th birthday. She had arranged for his parents and siblings to come into town to surprise him, and she wanted to use the opportunity to get some photographs of everyone together. Yesterday morning, when we met up bright and early downtown, I also found out that it was also their son Jackson’s 3rd birthday, AND, of course, it was Mother’s Day… so basically, there were about a thousand and one reasons to celebrate! This was one of those sessions that just came together so smoothly. The light was beautiful, everyone was happy (and good-looking to boot!), and we were in and out in no time so that some of the family could get back on the road to head home. Thank you Sampayo family for allowing me to be a small part of your weekend of celebrations. I hope it was a blast!

Oh Jenn. I’m so so glad you did this for your family! Of course I love the ones of the boys, but the ones of the whole family and the ones of Chunk’s parents made me smile the biggest. Love you guys!
