Last week one of my best friends Megan flew in from Colorado to visit us for a few days. Now that she’s a busy mom, I’m especially thankful she got the chance to come out and see Birmingham for the first time while Brandon held the fort down back home. (Thanks for lending her out Brandon, and don’t worry- next time you won’t be left out! :) ) We explored all the fun neighborhood downtown areas that our city has to offer, ate a TON of delicious food while enjoying the gorgeous weather on patios, and basically just relaxed and watched movies and good stuff like that.
As we headed out Friday morning to get coffee, I grabbed my camera. Megan asked me what I was going to shoot, and I said “You, of course!” If you come visit me, be prepared… I WILL shoot you. Srsly. Megan’s no stranger to my lens, but I couldn’t resist grabbing some quick portraits in an adorable little alley in Homewood, because, well, this girl? She’s gorgeous!
This face is one of those “in between” expressions… and I LOVE it.
She insisted that we get one of the two of us together, and amazingly, I was able to hand hold AND back button focus for this next one. Please excuse my straight-from-the-shower hair.
