A few weeks back I had the pleasure of returning to Selma, Alabama with Kelly of Spindle Photography to second shoot the ultimate “blush and bashful” wedding. Seriously, it was one armadillo cake short of being straight out of Steel Magnolias, which of course made my heart happy. Sweet bride Meagan welcomed us into her childhood home, where she and her bridesmaids were hunkered down watching old videos of their days as dancers and reminiscing, which was really cute. And I for one will always remember where I was when Amy Winehouse died, and that was sitting in Meagan’s kitchen eating a bag of Sun Chips.
I am also not exaggerating when I say that this group of groomsmen were by far the most… erm…. boisterous… that Kelly and I have ever photographed. We found them with a cooler of beer in the church nursery at 1:00 pm, and by the end of the night found ourselves being nudged by them into the middle of a dance circle. But let’s face it, we’re not ones to turn down dancing to “Party in the U.S.A.” at particularly fun receptions, so we just took it in stride. ;)
Huge thanks to Kelly for inviting me along, and be sure to go check out her post, complete with vendor info if you’re interested, HERE. Enjoy!

Morgan, I will just DIE if you aren’t my wedding photographer. Please don’t get too big for me. I promise I will book you soon! Lol. ;)
Gorgeous work, as always. Love it.
beautiful. i looks like it was so much fun! i love the poolside close up and the dancing!
Looks like that was one heck of a reception! :)
I love, love, love this! I can feel the love, the energy and the happiness of the day throughout every photograph! So fun! Candid shots are the best. They are so raw and honest. This looks like the happiest wedding ever!
