When Jessica and I originally began talking about ideas for her engagement session with John, she was really enthusiastic about the idea of shooting at a blueberry-picking farm. These two LOVE (and I mean, LOVE) blueberries, so it would be really special for them. Unfortunately, by the time they were able to schedule the session, all the farms said they were all picked over, so we scrapped that idea. Instead, we decided to meet up in historic downtown Florence at none other than the police station… where they originally met!
But don’t worry… we still managed to incorporate the blueberries a little later in the session. (AND to top it off they sent me home with a goodie bag full of blueberry-flavored coffee K-cups and homemade peanut butter cookies! YUM!) Keep scrolling and see for yourself!
Yep, they’re SUPER cute together.
As we were driving to the next location, Jessica had a last minute suggestion for a spot to shoot. We drove up a windy road, and suddenly the most amazing view of the river and downtown Florence came into view. I mean, wow. Way to go, Jessica!
Love, love, loooooove.
Jessica and John, thank you both so much for such a wonderful afternoon! I can’t wait to head back up to Florence for your wedding next month! :)
Addie - Such a cute couple and love the kudzu/bridge location… so pretty!
Kelly Cummings - I think Jessica looks a little like Emma Stone! And I love love the forehead shot and the one below on the blanket.
Sadie - What a gorgeous couple, and amazing choice for location! I love that the first location was so personal… and beautifully done!
