Crystal and Garrett are, in a word, adorable. When I first met them for their engagement session at the Orpheum theater (one of my faves to date!), I immediately loved their indie style and the way they loved on each other, so I knew their wedding would be a fun one to shoot. Despite facing a heat index of 110 degrees and having to move their ceremony indoors so that guests wouldn’t melt in the heat, you would never know that they had gone to a Plan B, because they both had big smiles on their faces all day long. It was clear that Crystal and Garrett knew what was most important- their marriage- and didn’t let anything else bring them down.
Major thanks to my lovely second shooter Mary Margaret Smith for being ahhh-mazing as always and capturing some of the shots you’ll see below. Enjoy! :)
Loooove that Mary Margaret captured this deer on camera!

Are these two not seriously so good-looking? I mean, SHEESH!

Crystal requested that we do a little mini-photo-shoot of her with her longtime best friend and maid of honor, Nicholl. TOO CUTE.

I absolutely loved the Davies Manor and its mix of log cabin-y and plantation home goodness. Also… this was a PERFECT time of day for more portraits of Crystal and Garrett. Talk about yummy light!

During the reception, they played My Fair Lady without sound in the background. Such a neat idea, especially for two musical theater buffs!

Congratulations you two! We had so much fun documenting your big day and wish you the best of luck and happiness in your new married life! :)
