When I met up with Katie and Chris for their engagement session this past Sunday afternoon, the weather was absolute perfection, and they were so relaxed that it felt just like hanging out. We spent the next hour and a half wandering around the botanical gardens and Mountain Brook Village, capturing a little slice of their easygoing love and sense of humor, and talking about everything from our dogs (we’re all obsessed!) to the plans for their wedding in Charleston next month, which I couldn’t be more excited to photograph.

I always think it’s funny when couples just assume that I’m exaggerating (and/or lying!) when I tell them how adorable they are together and how much they’re working it in front of the camera. Hopefully seeing the photos will confirm it for them, because seriously?! Look at this cuteness!
