I met up with Sarah and Ethan at Sloss Furnace on an absolutely dreary day back in September. These two had driven in from Atlanta for their session, and they had battled torrential downpour and horrific traffic the entire way. Lucky for us, the rain held off the entire time we were shooting and left us with soft, overcast skies. NOT going to complain about that!
Sarah and I hit it off right away when we first began emailing back and forth. For one, her last name is Harris, which is my maiden name, and I have a cousin named Sarah Harris also, so that was kind of cool. She’s also originally from Birmingham but now lives in Atlanta, and all her extended family is in Nashville (just like mine!). She’s an interior designer, which is my second love behind photography, AND she loves bright colors and Target and cardigans. Sooo, basically we’re soul mates. haha.
Her actual soul mate is Ethan, who is every bit as cool. He’s also a creative (landscape architect!), has great style, and is hilarious. He kept us laughing the entire time. It’s easy to see why these two compliment each other so well! And I absolutely can’t wait for their wedding in Atlanta this spring.
Pretty much obsessed with Sarah’s outfit.(Ethan, you looked great too. ;))
What do you do when life hands you dreary afternoons for shooting? Make rivers out of rain puddles, naturally!
Thanks so much for a fun afternoon, you two!
