A couple of weeks ago, I got a call from Austin. He was planning to drive in to Birmingham from Mississippi on Wednesday afternoon to propose to his girlfriend Amye, and he wanted me to be there to document it. I LOVE a good proposal, so of course I agreed. When I met him at the Vulcan on one of the most bitterly cold and windy days we’ve had this winter, I could tell he was incredibly nervous and excited. While I was getting set up and hidden away, he turned to ask me whether he should get down on his left or right knee, which was probably one of the most adorable things OF ALL TIME. (When I told that story with the preview I posted on my Facebook page, it got an amazing reaction and a record number of “likes”! So obviously I’m not the only one who appreciates a romantic guy. ;))
So as you might have guessed, Amye said yes! And they’re getting married! YAY! Congratulations you guys! Enjoy seeing how it all went down…
Debbie Trinker - What an incredibly thoughtful guy to even think to call a photographer to record this memory forever! Nice job Morgan for not shivering too much and gettting some sweet shots. Is this the first time you have gotten a request like this? Hopefully after seeing this, more guys will do it too.
