I know I'm a little biased, being a photographer and all, but I truly believe that hiring a good photographer is so important because when it's all said and done, when the flowers have wilted and the food has been eaten and the dress has been boxed away, all you have are the photos. Your wedding album is what you'll show your grandchildren one day as you tell them the story of how you fell head over heels in love with your significant other. And the fact of the matter is that there are no do-overs when it comes to wedding photography. If you regret skimping on it, you'll have to be reminded of that for the rest of your life. It sounds dramatic, I know, but I've talked to way too many brides who have been disappointed with their photographs to not give future brides the heads up. :)
