When Kelly and Ross told me that they live in the Highlands, a gorgeous historic neighborhood in Birmingham, and that they regularly walk to Rojo (one of my very favorite restaurants!) for dinner and that their building is a stone’s throw from the Donnelly House, which will be their wedding venue this September… well, let’s say it wasn’t difficult to decide on a location for their engagement session. :) I met them at their apartment on an absolutely gorgeous spring day, and we spent the afternoon wandering around their neighborhood and capturing them in their element. We chatted about that night’s season premiere of Mad Men (which is literally the only TV show Ross will watch besides Seinfeld), dealt with a minor dog poo emergency, marveled at Kelly’s genetically-inherited crooked pinky fingers (so cool), and just had an all-around fun time together. I’m SO excited to be shooting their wedding!
Gah, you two are so good-looking!
… I mean, for real…
I LOVE SPRING.
Kelly and Ross, thank you for such a fantastic session! Just a few short months to go…. :)
Rebekah - Love how you captured one of my favorite neighborhoods in Birmingham! And the first place I lived when I moved to the Magic City. :)
