Last month I had the pleasure of assisting Kelly at Rob and Jean’s wedding. Kelly told me that this couple was ridiculously fun and so cute, but I just couldn’t get over HOW happy and smiley and sweet they were all day long. And not in the gag-inducing PDA way… more like, seeing them together shows you just how much a marriage should be between the very best of friends. I also adored the infusion of elements of Jean’s Chinese heritage into a classically Southern wedding- particularly the red and ivory color scheme, which isn’t super common for a summer wedding. Even better was watching their families come together, despite any language and cultural barriers.
Huge thanks to Kelly for inviting me along (be sure to check out her recap here), and to Rob and Jean for welcoming me in and making sure we were well-fed and taken care throughout the day. I had an absolute blast!
Below: probably one of my fave shoe shots to date…
The adorableness began early…
Also one of my favorite first kisses ever. UGH, can’t handle the sweetness!
Do you spot the photo bomber? ;)
Oh, aaand one of the most hilarious best man speeches ever…
One of my absolute favorite parts of a wedding is watching the older crowd really let loose and enjoy themselves. Rob’s grandmother was a TRIP!
