Now that we’re finally seeing spring blooms pop up all over (thank goodness!), it only makes sense to revisit a session from last fall, when the colors were more orange than pink and the leaves were on the ground, not the trees…. right?! Ha! Well, in my world it makes total sense. Besides, Claire and Eric just had an absolutely stunning wedding in Mississippi a few weeks ago and it was oh-so-springy and I can’t wait to blog it, but I couldn’t not share their engagement photos first. Part of the reason I’m so pumped about these images is because Claire’s house (actually, it’s now Claire AND Eric’s house!) is just a few streets away in my neighborhood and I love that she wanted to start our session there. Historic Crestwood homes make my heart go pitter-patter. Almost as much as Claire and Eric’s chemistry does.
Be on the lookout for their wedding post soon, but until then, enjoy these!
Reasons Claire and I hit it off immediately: 1) When we first met, she was wearing a black and white polka-dotted dress. 2) She was also an English major and now teaches English. So the fact that her home was filled with books- many of my personal favorites, in fact- only sealed the deal that much more for me.
Ohhhh, that fall light. Almost makes me want to skip ahead to October again. Almost. Also, how are these two so stinkin’ gorgeous? Sheesh.
Can’t wait to share more of these two soon! Congratulations you guys!
