Ali + Caleb // A Backyard Rucker Place Wedding with Fake Tattoos

There is truly no greater compliment, as a photographer, than when another photographer (especially one you love as a person and respect as an artist) asks you to photograph them. I always pinch myself when this happens.

I met Ali in the Birmingham photography world some time back. She was newer to the industry, and we spent time together getting coffee and talking shop and becoming friends. I then had the privilege of having her along to second shoot some weddings for me. This girl is a pure delight, and I have always loved spending time with her.

So when she asked me to photograph her own wedding to Caleb, I was so honored. (And also nervous…. like, super nervous.) These two are some of the kindest, most down-to-earth people you could hope to know, while also being gorgeous Amazons. ;)

It was a muggy day in the middle of July in Alabama, and it was outdoors, and it was perfection. Between Ali’s eye for photography and design (so many fun details!) to their hilarious and fun friends to all the incredibly sweet moments that unfolded throughout the day… loved every minute. And so thankful that the one and only Mary Margaret was along for the ride to shoot this one with me!
